Hello… Diaper Chair!!
Hello out there!!
It’s been 9 months since my last post. I guess that’s pretty fitting…
since much of the time I would have spent posting
is instead used for caring for my baby!
I’m hoping to be able to post more frequently,
now that my little boy is on more of a predictable schedule.
For now I’ll ease back into this by posting
one of the (many) “tutorials” I’ve been planning.
I’ve been crafting and creating quite a lot of things for my little guy,
and I’ve actually been good about taking pictures!
This was the inspiration for this chair… he has a Bumbo, but his legs are starting to be a little big for it. One night after we used the last of the diapers we made a discovery: our little boy fits perfectly inside the box, with a small pillow (or folded blanket) behind him!
Hm… this makes me think….
I marked out a rough measurement of where I wanted the chairback to be.
Then I made some cuts, CAREFULLY, using a razor knife ($1 from hardware store).
The “chair” could technically be called DONE now,
but I wanted to get a little fancy with an extra paper bag and some special duct tape
we happened to have around…

Play Chair!!
I call it a “Play Chair” because it’s just the right size
for us to set our little guy up with a few toys around his feet
and he’ll be entertained long enough for me to…
wash the dishes…
make more baby food…
gather up the laundry from the floor…
take out the trash…
or finally take a chance to sit and relax!
