Handcrafting Every Inch

… with care

I’m getting back on track with the VegetaBalls for the Vegetable Circus!
The most recent endeavor was the Kiwi Poi, for our Lady Kiwi. I can’t wait to see what she thinks of them. We spoke and decided that the best option would be to make loops instead of permanent “strings”. This way the poi can be attached to different kinds of rope (stretchy, not stretchy, colored, etc…) and have different ways to move. I think they’re pretty cute…
I’ve also been really putting a lot of Love into the vegetables I’m trying to grow on my porch. They’re really starting to come along now! I know this is a craft blog and plants aren’t exactly CRAFTS…but I did help MAKE them……from seeds.
The strawberries are getting bigger everyday and have just begun to get pink THIS morning.
And someday… some day MAYBE the tomato plants will be big and strong enough to grow their own tomatoes.
We have a little bit of cilantro growing, but no pictures yet. Our salad greens bucket looks like it’s only lacking some dressing! Yum yum
The peas have passed the “first flowers” and are forming into edible food.
Stay tuned…
