Handcrafting Every Inch

… with care

Mission: Commissions

I’m getting busier!! As is EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE…pretty much. Being just before Christmas and all….

The Vegetable Circus has also become much busier, so I’m hearing. They’ve booked a few after school enrichment programs in schools around Boston. They’ve ordered a BIG PILE of toss-able, juggle-able, fruits and vegetables. I’ve got to crank them out quick, because the programs are starting after the kids get back to school in the new year. SOON!!

An order from a non-profit organization, to be used for FUN and INSPIRING things. Huzzah!

I’ve also been commissioned to make a few winter hats. Rob’s been talking to all his friends, spreading the word that if handcrafted gifts are what you want, then I’m the one to talk to. I can’t wait until next year when I’ll be REALLY ready for the gift season.

I’ve been having fun taking pictures….and been making more wristlets. I’d like to have a good collection of matching sets….this hat and wristlets ALMOST match.

I’ve finally caught up on my finance log too! I set up spreadsheets so I can easily keep track of the money I spend on supplies, as well as the money coming in to me from sales. I’m proud!! It’s easy to use, easy to read, and I think it’s something I’ll be able to keep up with.

I have a plan to start a log of all the things I MAKE, when, and where they are physically (at the Depot, on my shelves, Sold, etc.) I think it’ll be REALLY helpful, but much more upkeep. We’ll see how it goes….

Just in case I don’t get to update before then….

HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
