It’s curtains for you my dear!! …is that a bad thing?
I just wanted to write a quick post, because I’m proud as a peach about my new digs!
I’ve been feeling the urge to clean, organize, and BABYPROOF our apartment.
A few weeks ago we moved my sewing corner into the bedroom,
in order to keep my sharp things and valuable half-finished projects away from our son,
who is just now becoming mobile….
First it was messy.
Then I got organized and it looked nice for a while.
And then I started working on projects….
and I was quickly back at the beginning.
I saw THIS POST a while back about putting up a curtain to hide a workspace.
The idea jumped around in my head until I could quiet it no longer.
In a 12 hour period I picked out fabric, cut my pieces, sewed my seams and…
One 86″ tension rod. 10 yds fabric. ~ 4 hours time.
I win!
