Handcrafting Every Inch

… with care

The Vegetable Circus Request

Well, I’ve finally reached the halfway point in this time-consuming, but AWESOME project I’ve been working on. The Vegetable Circus has begun working at more after school programs and have requested sets of juggle-able vegetables. They need enough for ALL the kids in their programs to have at least three when they’re learning how to toss juggle. The halfway mark is 45 fruits and veggies! I’m glad for the order. I can see a lot of kids having a lot of fun with these, in my mind’s eye. I’m working every day until they’re done. I’m SO glad to have more pictures too!

Beets

Strawberries

Eggplants

Apples

Pears

(oops! guess I didn’t get a good shot of the pears yet…)
Corn

Hot Peppers

Carrots

Lemons and Limes

I also made each of the performers/teachers a bag to carry all of their goodies in.
Threw it in as a “free gift” with the order because it seems so necessary,
with such a large amount of juggling props!

It’s been SO much fun designing and perfecting for this project! Just in case I don’t have enough links for them, you can read more about The Vegetable Circus here. And if you’d like to order your own set of vegetables or fruits, you can also do that here.

This blog is so good for me! It’s been so helpful in seeing my progress. And it’s a great place to send the people who care about me to when they ask what I’ve been up to. They can check in here, even when they’re not so close. So, thanks for checking in 🙂

All right, back to work!!
